Topic: Food Gets Sacrificed First

About Me: I was born and raised in Arizona and have a professional background in Medicaid customer service, high-value at-risk collections, and debt relief services. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies at Grand Canyon University, with aspirations to attend law school. In my free time, I enjoy painting, reading, and playing tennis.

My Why: Through my work, I have heard countless stories from families doing everything right but still falling behind due to unforeseen financial hardships. Too often, food was the first thing they had to sacrifice just to keep up with medical or other essential bills. These experiences opened my eyes to how quickly food insecurity can affect anyone and how urgently we need systems that provide real and compassionate support.
