Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County will be at the Natural Products Expo on Friday, March 7, 2025! Join our team as we gather fresh, unopened food and beverages remaining from the Natural Products Expo!
What is the Natural Products Expo: Natural Products Expo West® is the world’s biggest exhibition of natural and organic products. This trade show showcases the latest in natural products, including food and beverages. The Expo has attracted tens of thousands of visitors annually from over 130 countries.
What to expect: After the conclusion of the trade show day, our volunteers will be broken into smaller teams and will go from hall to hall and vendor to vendor to collect any remaining unopened food products. This volunteer opportunity is physical in nature and will involve walking throughout the Convention Center halls as well as lifting food products.
Why this volunteer opportunity is important and helpful: By volunteering at this trade show, you are helping Second Harvest collect valuable food items which are distributed to our Partner Network and, ultimately, to members of our community. Trade shows like these are a significant source of food procurement for Second Harvest, and help us in our mission to provide dignified, equitable and consistent access to nutritious food.
