Grocery Rescue & Food Rescue

We work with local grocers, including Albertsons, Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Sam’s Club, Fresh & Easy, Gelsons, Target, Walmart, Sams, and Trader Joes to deliver fresh perishable food directly to our agencies.

This means milk, yogurt, cheese, meat, deli items and fresh produce can help the hungry instead of ending up in landfills.

To ensure safety, we use refrigerated trucks, we monitor temperatures, and all food handlers are certified in food safety by the Orange County Health Care Agency.

If you are a retailer, and could benefit from tax advantages and reduced disposal costs, click here.

We arrange pick-up of prepared food from restaurants, caterers, hotels and amusement parks and deliver it immediately to shelters, soup kitchens and other feeding programs.

If you have excess prepared food that may be available from a conference or an event, please click here.
