Nutrition education is a vital part of feeding the hungry, and over the last six years, we’ve incorporated it into all our programs.
Education
Every month, we offer an interactive, crash course in nutrition so volunteers can learn to teach at our Child Hunger sites. There are no credentials required. To sign up, or call our Program Services Coordinator at 949 653-2900.
Promotion
Through our partnerships with NuPAC, OCHCA PowerPlay! and other programs, we have distributed more than three million pieces of nutrition information at health and resource fairs and school events.
