What is Scouting for Food?
Scouting for Food is a program of the Boy Scouts of America in cooperation Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and the Girl Scouts of Orange County. It is designed to help alleviate the problem of hunger in Orange County
What is happening during October? - Thousands of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and their volunteer leaders in Orange County will approach homes requesting food donations. Each Scout that participates is eligible to purchase a patch for $1. Patch artwork coming soon!

- The food will be delivered to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County for distribution to the hungry of Orange County.

Angel’s Groundkeepers Food Drive 
November 16th through November 18th
8 AM - 4 PM
The Angels' Groundskeepers will host their 12th annual Thanksgiving Holiday Canned Food Drive from Friday, November 16th thru Sunday, November 18th at Angel Stadium of Anaheim (weather permitting). All proceeds will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County in the fight against hunger during the holiday season.
Donations of three cans of food or $2 will be good for one swing against a pitching machine with a maximum of 20 pitches per participant. Speed pitch machines will also be set up in the bullpens giving fans the opportunity to test their pitching skills for a donation of two canned food items or $1 per pitch. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to shag fly balls in the Outfield for a donation of $25 for 15 minutes. The Angels will provide bats, balls and helmets. Participants can enter Angel Stadium through Gate #1.

KLOS/KABC Stuff-a-Truck Food Drive
November 16th and 17th, Friday and Saturday
9am-7pm
Stuff-a-Truck with KLOS! November 16th and 17th the KLOS team will be at Stater Brothers in Orange working hard to “stuff-a-truck” full of canned goods and non-perishable foods to feed the needy this holiday season. Want to be part of the action? Head over to Stater Brothers on East Chapman on Friday and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. with sealed, non-perishable food donations. We will have a large Second Harvest Food Bank truck there each day so bring plenty of food to fill it with.

Harvesting Hope- Stater Brothers Food Drive
November and December
This holiday season, Stater Bros. is Harvesting Hope in your community with the help of Coca-Cola. Each Stater Bros. Supermarket has placed food barrels in the front of each store to collect non-perishable food items to give to those in need during the months of November and December.
