Financial Information

As a vital link between the food industry and agencies that feed those at-risk of hunger, Second Harvest Food Bank, Inc. has distributed more than 285 million pounds of food to those at-risk of hunger in Orange County. Through a network of nearly 500 member charities Second Harvest alleviates food insecurity for over 240,000 individuals in Orange County each month.

Last year, the Food Bank received the services of 10,500 volunteers providing 105,000 hours of service. Volunteers make up 55% of the workforce and are crucial to the success of the Food Bank helping us maintain an efficiency rate of 90% of every dollar spent is on our program and services.

Note: In 2012, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, Inc. became an independent 501c3 corporation with a new Federal Tax ID Number: 32-0362611.
